The third in our series of Land Army cards, Harvesting Victory is also the earliest, showing a Spitfire Mk.I of 610 squadron around the time of the Battle of Britain. The Fordson tractor had by this time become a ubiquitous piece of equipment around farms up and down the country and this work really does show the importance of the fighting forces and the home front in securing final victory.
