Brothers in Arms - SEPECAT Jaguar

£24.00

Aviation Art Print showing SEPECAT Jaguar from 6 Squadron by Artist Graham Henderson GAvA

The multi-national SEPECAT Jaguar proved itself a versatile and rugged aircraft in several conflicts, most notably in the first Gulf War of 1990-91.

Graham Henderson's painting shows GR.1A XX752/ EQ of no.6 Squadron, the famous "Flying Can Openers". This unit used the Jaguar from 1974 in the close support role until being disbanded at RAF Coningsby in 2007 in preparation for becoming a Typhoon F.2 Squadron.

The unit also had several Jaguar T.2 trainers and one of these is seen in the background of this painting as both aircraft take off from their RAF Coltishall base in the mid-1990s.

The original gouache painting from which our print is taken is currently available.
