The
Harrier arrived at 4 Squadron in 1970 with the improved GR.3, seen here
equipping the Squadron from 1978.
4
Squadron would see service in Belize and as part of RAF Germany, where these
two aircraft are seen on a live-fire exercise.
The
GR.3 would be replaced by the GR.5 and the squadron would be equipped with
later versions the aircraft until final disbandment in 2010.
