The Be-10 series is one of the few successful jet-powered flying boats to have been produced. David Calow takes as his subject aircraft 40 which was modified (hence M10 designation) and established 12 records for Flying boats in 1961.
Service aircraft were introduced in 1961 and replaced by the BE-12 in 1968.
