Prior to departing on a nighttime mission, an FE.2b crew discuss the finer details of the mission with the Squadron’s commanders. The FE.2b was a strong, dependable workhorse that had a surprising career spanning 1915-1918. By the time of their night raids, ‘Fee’ squadrons, such as 102 squadron, RFC had gained a reputation for doggedness and dependability.
