Supermarine S.6B Schneider Trophy Winner Aviation Art Print by Aircraft Artist Roger H. Middlebrook GAvA

The Schneider Trophy represented the pinnacle of aerial racing from its inception in 1913 to 1931 when it was won for a third time by Britain to take the trophy outright. The aircraft to do it was the Supermarine S.6B, a machine that has since gone into aviation folklore as the predecessor of the Spitfire and aircraft that won its designer, R.J Mitchell the eyes of the world.
