Swedish Hart - Hawker B3 Hart

£12.50

Swedish Aviation Art - Hawker Hart light bomber

One of the classic designs of the 1930s, Hawker’s Hart family were delivered to a large number of countries in a bewildering array of variants. Sweden first showed interest in the type in 1932 and after an order for four from Britain, license-built their own versions at the  Trollhätten state factory. This particular aircraft was flown by Erik Bratt, project manager of the SAAB 35 Draken family. Bratt had joined the Air Force in 1940 and took up his position at SAAB in 1945 until retiring in 1981. He died in 2010 at the age of 93.
