£24.00

HMS Hood Royal Navy Battlecruiser Rock of Gibraltar Art Painting Print by Naval Artist Roger H. Middlebrook GAvA

From her introduction into service in 1920 HMS Hood was the largest warship afloat. A battlecruiser with great speed and eight 15" guns the ships achilles heel was its poor armour protection, a weakness that would be shown by her harrowing end in engagement with Bismarck. This painting shows her on the Mediterranean station during the Spanish Civil War.
