Slipping the Bonds - Canberra Original Painting
English Electric Canberra B.Mk.6 Aviation Art Original Painting by Aviation Artist Chris French GAvA
One of the finest achievements in Britain's aviation history, the Canberra had a service life of nearly fifty years. Continually modernised and modified, it was one of the few British aircraft to be flown by the USAF (as the B-57).
This fine painting by aviation artist Chris French shows the aircraft in a vast, yet tranquil setting that allowed many pilots the opportunity to relax and enjoy the view.
This is the original Oil on Canvas painting from which our print is taken. It comes varnished, framed and ready to hang with a canvas size of 20" x 16" (50cm x 40cm) and an overall size of 23" x 19" (58cm x 48cm)
