Post War Military Paintings
Post-World War Two Military Vehicle Painting Art Prints
The post-war period has seen military vehicles gain capabilities designers of their WWII predecessors could only dream of. The galvanising of the post-war order into two distinct military camps, NATO and the Warsaw Pact created an arms race which, while the main protagonists never came to blows, their equipment would be used in flashpoints all over the globe. For the British Army this has meant detachment to Germany as part of the British Army of the Rhine, Korea 1950-53, Borneo, Cyprus, Falklands and two missions in Iraq to mention the best known.
Our range will be expanded over time to include not only the Main Battle Tanks of Britain, the Centurion, Chieftain and Challenger but also their smaller cousins, the CVR(T) and CVR(W) families including the Scorpion, Scimitar and Fox and many other important vehicles used, such as the Ferret and Dingo scout cars and Abbot, Paladin and AS90 howitzers.
