McDonnell-Douglas F-4 Phantom FG.1 - 111 Squadron Original Drawing
McDonnell Douglas Phantom FG,1 Original Pencil Drawing by Graham Henderson GAvA
Probably the greatest jet fighter designed in the west, the F-4 Phantom II family of jets served with most of the major air forces of NATO at one time or another.
Without a long-range interceptor, the RAF and Royal Navy both used the type, powered by the Rolls-Royce Spey engine. The FG.1 and FGR.2 were utilised by numerous squadrons with the print showing an F.G 1 from 111 Squadron. 111 Squadron used the aircraft after transitioning from Lightning's in 1974 until 1990
This is the original pencil drawing from which our prints are taken. It comes framed ready to hang and measures 21" x 15" (53cm x 38cm)
