Singapore Sightseeing - Fairey IIID
Fairey IIID Floatplane Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Aviation Art Painting Print by Aircraft Artist Roger H. Middlebrook GAvA
Much of the world's territory remained un-mapped until the advent of the aircraft as some places were just too inaccessible. Once reliable aircraft became available this job fell, in many parts of the world, to the aircraft of the RAF and Royal Navy. Here a Fleet Air Arm Fairey IIID makes the first photo-survey of Singapore in 1924.
