Snow Guardian - Westland Sea King
The Sea King has been the backbone of Search and Rescue (SAR) units all over the world since its introduction in the mid-1960s. Norway has twelve, operated by 330 Skvadron since their introduction in 1973. A faithful servant and having saved many lives the aircraft is now coming up to retirement. For many years the RNoAF operated the aircraft on a flight system with two flights being based with Northern Air Command and the other two Southern Air Command.
