Simply stunning new Lightning artwork from Paul Couper GAvA
The English Electric Lightning is one of Britain's most loved aircraft with scintillating performance that wowed all that saw it fly.
Entering service with the RAF in 1960, all versions of the aircraft did however have one major drawback, this being a lack of range which in turn led to the aircraft requiring support from RAF tankers, such as the Handley-Page Victor. Lightnings of 5 Squadron are seen waiting to take fuel in this new Post-War Aviation Art Print, "Drogue Traders", by aviation artist Paul Couper.
