Operating from Foggia, Italy the 82nd Fighter Group helped escort USAAF bombing raids of the Fifteenth Air Force into German held territory. "Gutterdammerung" was the aircraft of Lt. Harley Barnhart and served with the 95th Fighter Squadron.
