AEC Regal RT London Bus Trafalgar Square Blank Birthday or Fathers Day Card
Built from 1938, the RT was produced jointly by AEC and London Transport but due to the War problems were faced with producing the initial 150 of the vehicle, the last of which did not enter service until 1942. From 1946, AEC built over 6,000 more vehicles of three versions, the RT, RTL and RTW. The last RT was withdrawn from Route 62 between Barking and Marks Gate in 1979. A number are preserved and can often be seen at Bus Rallies
Mike Jefferies painting shows an early RT on Route 11 moving around the London Landmark of Trafalgar Square.
