Professionally Built model of the Sopwith Strutter (Roden 1/48)
The Strutter holds the distinction of being the
first British aircraft equipped with a synchronised machine gun to fire through
the propeller arc. Used in numerous guises including fighter, night-fighter and
light bomber, the aircraft was reasonably successful and remained in service
until replaced by aircraft such as the Sopwith Camel and the superb Bristol F.2b
Fighter.
This is Roden’s model in 1/48 scale. It was painted in Tamiya acrylics. A similar model, built without modification, would cost £95.00, plus the cost of the kit. Please contact us through the Commissions section if you are interested
