Qantas Lockheed Constellation Original Drawing by John Hunter GAvA

Qantas Empire Airways bought 34 Lockheed Constellation's of various models with the L-0749 being the initial variant. This aircraft, Ross Smith was named after a WWI aviator who, along with his brother, later completed the first flight from England to Australia in 1919. The aircraft also allowed Qantas to develop a number of the routes used to this day.

This is an original pencil drawing on heavyweight paper. It comes framed, ready to hang and measures 21" x 16" (530mm x 405mm)
