Macchi MC.205 Italian Fighter Aviation Art Limited Edition Print by Aviation Artist Darryl Legg
Similar to the Fiat G.55 seen in Darryl's "Alpine Combat" print, the Macchi MC.205 only made its combat debut shortly before the Italian armistice. From there all but six aircraft served with the Fascist ANR. Sixty had been completed by the armistice and another 200 would be produced before the end of the war.
