Concorde Aviation Art Print by Aviation Artist Michael Turner PGAvA
Arguably the greatest passenger aircraft ever built, Concorde was more than just an aircraft. From its first flight in 1969 to retirement in 2003 the aircraft inspired people and many aspired to taking a trip on the aircraft. Built around the need for businessmen to be able to cross the Atlantic both ways and have a meeting in a single day the aircraft became a victim of its own brief as with the march of technology and things such as video-conferencing the role for which it had been designed no longer existed.
Supersonic Concorde at Mach 2, high above the North Atlantic.
