BAe Hawk 19 Squadron Original Aviation Art Painting by Artist Stephen Chard GAvA
Two BAe Hawk T.1A from no.19(R) Squadron are seen on a routine training mission from their base at RAF Valley. The aircraft is used in the Weapons and Tactical Training role and as such helps to both train and maintain pilots in air-to-air fighting and gunnery, tactical evaluation, low flying and operational procedures.
The Hawk has been a considerable success for BAe and its forebears, the aircraft first entering service in 1976.
