SEPECAT Jaguar 226 OCU RAF Lossiemouth Aviation Art Print Painting by Artist Chris French FGAvA
Sepecat Jaguars of the RAF’s No. 226 Operational
Conversion Unit (OCU) are towed to their hangars at Lossiemouth in Scotland for
overnight maintenance after the day’s operations. The frequently inclement
weather was a great incentive to get all the aircraft under cover as quickly as
possible. The towing team found it quicker to push the aircraft all the way from
the apron into the hangars. The Anglo-French Jaguar was operated by 226 OCU
from 1974 to 1991.
