Battle of Britain Film Unit, B-25 Mitchell Psychedelic Monster Aviation Aircraft Art Painting Print by Aviation Artist Paul Couper
During the filming of the "Battle of Britain" film, a B-25 Mitchell was used for shooting many of the aerial scenes. Brightly painted to make it as visible to the many aircraft in the sky at the time, it became known as the "Psychedelic Monster". The film, starring many of the greatest actors of the era has become the bench mark against which any film portraying aerial combat is compared.
