The peace and tranquillity of a summer evening fishing trip is interrupted by the presence of a de Havilland Chipmunk coming in to land. Even this unwanted intrusion cannot break the concentration of the two fisherman, who are obviously too engrossed in landing their prize to even notice the aircraft.
This is the original oil on canvas board painting from which our cards and prints are taken.
The painting comes varnished and framed ready to hang and measures 20" x 16" (508mm x 406mm), with a framed size of 24" x 20" (600mm x 500mm).
