McDonnell Douglas FGR.2 Phantom 74 Squadron Original Drawing
McDonnell Douglas FGR.2 74 Squadron Original Aviation Art Drawing by Graham Henderson GAvA
Shown in the later barley grey, the Phantom FGR.2 became the standard day fighter with the retirement of both the earlier FG.1 and loaned F-4Js. Serving until 1992, the aircraft are still much loved by aviation enthusiasts and the crews that flew them.
With thanks to Grp. Cpt. Graham Clarke RAF (Retd), former OC of 74 Squadron for additional information
