Airliner Aviation Art Print of a Monarch Airlines Boeing 720 by Aviation Artist Paul Couper AGAvA
This
smaller variant of the illustrious 707 was popular with carriers on medium and
short haul routes, being more manageable than the larger aircraft.
Monarch
operated three 720B aircraft from 1971 resulting in a new livery being adopted
across the fleet. These would later be joined by four more aircraft, all seven
aircraft serving the airline well until retirement in 1983.
