A B.O.A.C. Vickers Super VC10 takes off from runway 09R at Heathrow in the mid 1960s bound for New York. By mounting the engines at the rear, the cabin was very quiet, proving popular with both passengers and crews. Super VC10 G-ASGC is preserved at Duxford as part of the British Airliner Collection
