Handley Page Victor Original Aviation Art Painting by Artist Stephen Chard GAvA

Though not the most famous of the “V” bombers, the Victor was both the most capable and had the longest service career. As well as its time in the nuclear deterrent role, Victor served in two major conflicts, the Falklands War of 1982 and Gulf War of 1991.

In the Falklands fifteen K.Mk.2 tankers made it possible for Vulcan XM607 to reach and bomb Port Stanley airfield. During the Gulf War these old workhorses acted again as tankers, this time to the Buccaneer, Jaguar and Tornado strike aircraft.

This aircraft comes from 55 Squadron, based at RAF Marham.

This original, framed and varnished painting comes ready to hang and measures 70cm x 60cm (Approx. 27.5" x 23.5"). Could interested parties please contact us by email to arrange payment and delivery
