The Fastest Concorde - Concorde
Concorde Aviation Painting Art Print by Aviation Artist Chris French FGAvA
Pre-production Concorde G-AXDN climbs on a test flight in the early 1970s. This aircraft has the distinction of having flown the fastest of any Concorde, reaching 1,450mph during a test flight in 1974.
Concorde '101' as it is known, made significant contributions to the flight test programme including the complex, variable engine intake system and electrical de-icing systems.
The aircraft is now part
of the British Airliner Collection at IWM Duxford
