Turning For Brize - Vickers VC10
Vickers VC10 RAF Support Command Aviation Art Print Painting by Artist Chris French
Deliveries of the Vickers VC10 to the RAF
began in 1965 with all aircraft being named after VC winners. Here C1 XV107 of
10 Squadron RAF Air Support Command is seen turning for its home base at RAF
Brize Norton. At this time the RAF was maintaining regular services to British
outposts all over the globe including two services to Kai Tak, Hong Kong and
the other to New York.
