Avro Lancaster Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Aviation Art by John Hunter GAvA
As one of only two Lancaster’s flying in the world today, PA474 is a treasured pieced of British aviation heritage. Kept on strength by the RAF as part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight she remains a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by Bomber Command. As such she receives a great deal of love and attention, as this picture shows, drawn at RAF Coningsby where the BBMF is based.
