While often over-used, we at Hansen Fine Art believe that the term 'Legendary' can be applied to the Vincent Black Shadow with justification. Entering production in 1948 and ceasing with the company's failure in 1955, the 125mph Black Shadow improved on the earlier Rapide and would remain the fastest roadbike for some years afterthe end of production. Along with the Brough Superior it must be classed as one of the worlds first 'Superbikes'
