Battledown flyover, near Basingstoke is the scene for this painting showing King Arthur Class 30777 Sir Lamiel being overtaken by Battle of Britain class 34051 “Winston Churchill” as it heads a portion of the Atlantic Coast Express towards the West Country. Meanwhile, 35029 Ellerman Lines is seen on the upper level with an express for Bournemouth. All three locomotives are now in the care of the National Railway Museum at York.
