Concorde British Airways Airliner Blank Birthday Fathers Day Card by Aviation Artist Stephen Brown
So much has been written about the superb Concorde that it is difficult to add anything here. The joint Anglo-French concept first took to the air in 1969 and after several years of further development entered service in 1976.
Following the tragic loss of one of the aircraft in 2000, the type was temporarily grounded for upgrades and though the aircraft resumed service in 2001, it was felt that the time for retirement had come and the last flight of a BA aircraft was on 26th November 2003.
