Ford Escort Yamaha FS-1E Blank Birthday Fathers Day Card by Artist Steven Binks
A dose of pure nostalgia, this superb card by Steven Binks shows some of the Queen's Silver Jubilee celebrations and the wider 1970s in general.
On the railway bridge we see Class 47 47163 which was allocated to Stratford in East London and painted with a large Union flag on the side.
The street scene shows some of the great transport of the era with two very famous motorcycles, the Yamaha FS-1E 'Fizzy' and Honda 400/4. In the background there is also a Honda Cub.
The star of the painting though is the Ford Escort
1300 Sport dating from 1976. On the right is seen another icon of the 70s, the
"Chopper" bike.
