Ayrton Senna JPS Lotus Formula One Blank Birthday Fathers Day by Stuart Booth
1985 Belgian Grand Prix – Senna, in the JPS Lotus 97T and Piquet (Brabham BT-54) both overtook pole sitter Prost (MP4/2B) on the run down to the first corner at La Source hairpin but Piquet used too much right foot on the exit and spun – this is the scene depicted in the painting. The track dried during the race and Senna won easily from Mansell and Prost.
