A1 LNER BR Steam Train Railway Locomotive Christmas Card by Railway Artist Malcolm Root
The first of the A1 Class locomotives painted in the wonderfull Express Passenger Blue. 60127 entered service in 1949 after being built at Doncaster and would serve the Eastern Region of BR for sixteen years. The locomotive is seen on the famous "Queen of Scots" Train, comprised of Pullman coaches.
