The Military Air Transport Service (MATS) of the USAF as tasked with everything from delivering jeeps and cargo to providing transport for generals and the American President. For the transport role MATS used the C-121, a militarised version of the Lockheed Constellation, which could also be rolled out as the VP-121 for the transport of the President.
