Saint class locomotive 2975 'Lord Palmer' was built at Swindon as no. 175 in 1905. It was renumbered and named 'Lord Palmer' in 1933. Malcolm Root FGRA's painting juxtaposes the engineering excellence of the GWR with the filthy environment of its servicing depot at Old Oak Common.
