Eastern Counties Bedford OB bus on a countryside route sometime in the 1950s Greetings Card
Introduced in 1939, the OB was to be seen on Britain's roads in good numbers for over thirty years. Over 12,000 would be built during a twelve year production run, making it one of the first really successful buses in Britain.
A highly prized vehicle in preservation, over 180 are still existence and a number still running services to and from preserved railway lines.
