JACKIE ICKX, Ford GT40 1969 Le Mans 24 hour Original Oil Painting by Artist Stuart Booth
Jackie Ickx is seen during the scintillating finish to the 1969 Le Mans 24 hour race. The car is of course the legendary Ford GT40, in the colours of the John Wyer team. Safety concerns had seen Ickx fall to the back of the field but the skill of the drivers, Ickx and Jackie Oliver, and power of the car gave a great race. The second Wyer GT40, driven by David Hobbs and Mike Hailwood, came in third.
Stuart Booth's Original Oil on canvas board painting comes unframed (framing can be arranged at extra cost) and measures 24" x 18" (60cm x 45cm).
