Alain Prost McLaren Original Oil Painting by Stuart Booth

The 1986 Australian Grand Prix - a dramatic three-way championship
decider between Mansell, Piquet and Prost. Here Alain Prost, working his
way through the field in typical fashion, has passed Nigel Mansell, who
only needed to finish third to claim the championship. On lap 64 Mansell
was out with a blown tyre and Prost was closing on Piquet who was in the
lead, but had to be called in for a precautionary tyre change. Prost
slowed dramatically as his fuel ran low, but nursed the car home to win
by four seconds from Piquet.

This is the original oil on canvas painting from which our prints and card are taken. It measures 70cm x 50cm (27.5" x 19.5"). This piece is supplied unframed for your own choice of frame.
