1963 Monaco Grand Prix. Hill (BRM) leading up the hill to the Casino in the early stages ahead of Jim Clark (Lotus), Richie Ginther (BRM), Surtees (Ferrari) and Gurney (Brabham). Clark passed Hill but towards the end of the race had gearbox failure leaving Hill to the first of his five wins – this was one race Clark was destined never to win.
