The ‘Queen of the Skies’ Boeing 747 was the mainstay of British Airways’ long haul fleet for nearly half a century. Entering service with BOAC in 1971, the ‘Jumbo’ would serve with the British national carrier for 49 years, the last examples being retired in 2020.
Depicted is one of the first 747-136 aircraft delivered to BOAC and one of the last 747-436 models to retire from BA’s fleet.
This is the original oil on canvas painting from which our prints are taken. The picture comes varnished, framed and ready to hang.
The framed picture measures 30" x 22" (77cm x 56cm).
