The London terminal of the Great Northern, LNER, BR and today's services on the East Coast mainline, Kings Cross has seen its fair share of famous locomotives and classes of engine. In the steam era though none quite ever matched the streamlined A4 for elegance and here we see 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley with 2570 Tranquil and a couple of the ever-present N1/N2 tanks.
