Blank Greeting Card of a BOAC Boeing 707 by Aviation Artist Roger Murray AGAvA

BOAC's use of the American built Boeing 707 was a controversial issue during the aircraft's first few years in service. Powered by four Rolls-Royce Conway engines, the 707 Model 436 also equipped Lufthansa, entering service with the German airway in March 1960 and BOAC six months later. Only 37 Model 436 were built and this one is seen at Paris Orly in its initial service year.
