Westland’s Sea King helicopter is a variation of the design originated by Sikorsky in the 1960s. A stalwart of many British and American campaigns since, the aircraft are currently serving aboard HMS Ocean, the Royal Navy’s dedicated helicopter carrier. The original painting won the Aviation Painting of the Year award at the 2001 Guild Of Aviation Artists annual exhibition.
