Designed by Henry Kjellson and first flying in 1919 the diminutive Ö-1 became the first aircraft to be designed and manufactured by FVM (Flygkompaniets Tygverkonstäder pa Malmen). A training aircraft that served from 1920-1933, the Ö-1 was also the mount for the “Four Aces” display team (Klörer, Hjäter, Spader, Ruter plus Hjater 2), one of the first of its sort in the world
