The Helicopter Display Team of the British Army, the Blue Eagles were first formed in 1968 with 1969 being the debut year for the display team. The equipment in those early years was the Westland Sioux, a licence-built version of the Bell 47, and it is in the early years that Stephen Chard has decided to show them.
