Formula 1 Motor Racing Art- 1968 Brands Hatch Grand Prix - Lotus & Ferrari by artist Richard Wheatland
The 1968 British Grand Prix was won by number 22 the Lotus 49 DFV driven by the Swiss driver Jo Siffert and entered by the privateer team Rob Walker Racing. Siffert was challenged closely throughout the race by number 5 New Zealander Chris Amon in the works Ferrari. It was a popular win for a popular Brands Hatch driver who was also successful in Porsche sportscar racing at Brands Hatch; sadly the circuit took his life when he crashed in a BRM at the 1971 Victory Race.
